Poem's For Philip

Five Years It’s been five years since we got that call. Five years since I have dreaded pools. Five years since our last goodbye. Five years since the reason happened for the tears I cry. Five years since that one pool caused us such grief. Five years since you have become out of reach. Five years since our lives have totally changed. Five years since its been hard to mention your name. It’s been five years since I miss you more each day. Five years since I wish you had of stayed. Five years since my life has had dread. Five years since you hit your head. Five years since they pronounced you dead. Its been five years since we wished they had a gate. Five years since its been to late. Five years since we can no longer touch your face. & for those reason our lives will never be the same. Love Your Cuz Emelie
